Eco Tourism

Enjoy an affordable vacation in the natural unspoiled beauty of the rustic Romanian countryside with its peaceful village rhythms.

This traditional Romanian farmhouse was built in 1937, and is located on 4 acres of farmland in the small village of Poieni.

Fruit and nut trees, as well as vegetables and corn are cultivated to provide organic produce for “Famlia AMURTEL”, our nearby children’s home, and for the “Basket of Vegetables” Community Supported Agriculture project. All proceeds from guests help to fund the children’s home as well, making it an opportunity for eco-service tourism!

The farmland is situated in southeastern Romania, in the rolling foothills of the Carpathian mountains on the banks of the Buzau river. It is along the state road “Buzau-Brasov”, and near a main railway line. The property is easily accessible by car, bus and train.
